The following four works are Encaustic Paintings.  Damar varnish is melted with beeswax and pigments are mixed in to produce the medium for encaustic paintings.  The hot colors are then painted onto luan that has been prepared with gesso.  Because of the delicate nature of these works temperature controlled handling will be neccessary for shipping and storing.

Large paintings on paper will be shipped rolled with decorative binder clips for hanging.  Of course if you prefer you can have them mounted and framed after you've recieved them.  Smaller works will be shipped flat.
